Warehouse Lead

Schedule: Friday through Monday, 8:00am - 6:30pm

Pay: $19-20 DOE 

Responsibilities, include but are not limited to:    

• Plan staffing accordingly per shifts / work with warehouse supervisor of team of shift   

• Eliminate unnecessary OT and monitor warehouse employees’ hours   

• Take disciplinary actions with team members who do not meet standards or follow safety procedures  

• Assign duties to shift according to shift needs   

• Check in drivers – ensure BOL is filled out correctly and ensure orders are loaded correctly. Proper temperature, proper count, proper BOL is given to driver and any questions are answered  

• Daily walkthrough form performed and emailed to Admin daily   

• Ensure all duties during shifts are meet such as: Ensure QC reports are done in timely matter, QC area is remained cleaned, warehouse is cleaned, kitchen area is kept cleaned, dock area is kept cleaned and organized, and BOL’s are sent ASAP.   

• Communicate with Operations of any pending issues, such as delayed shipments, product issues, damage noticed to warehouse or trucks   

• Ensure physical inventory matches to software inventory  

• Ensure all Food Safety and HACCP duties are meet daily   

• Work collaboratively with the warehouse supervisor to ensure that all tasks are completed at the end of their shift  

• Communicates with the supervisor and the next address of pending tasks  

• Monitors time / fast pace for completion of tasks  

• Send emails to the Ops team. of any update such as inventory, AWB collection, temperature, etc.  

• Report any suspicious activity 

Requirements: 

• Ability to lift up to 70 LB.  

• Ability to work intermittently in a cold environment (30-50 degrees Fahrenheit) 

• Ability to work overtime  

• Seafood and Produce experience (Preferred)  

• Proven working experience as a warehouse worker with at least 2 years of forklift and pallet jack experience  

• Basic Outlook and Microsoft experience   

• Bilingual a plus, but not required
