Join our CI team! Do you love helping students build proficiency in Spanish? Are you a CI teacher, or interested in learning CI (Comprehensible Input)? Are you a creative and engaging educator who enjoys collaborating with other dedicated language colleagues? St. Martin's Episcopal School is seeking a dynamic CI Spanish teacher for the 22-23 school year. We offer an established CI program in Chinese, French, and Spanish from PK to 12th grade. St. Martin's has small classes, professional development opportunities, and a team of experienced CI teachers. The ideal candidate would have the following qualifications: A bachelor's degree in Spanish. An advanced degree is preferred. Native or near-native fluency in Spanish 3 years of successful CI teaching experience A collaborative spirit of working with and learning from department members in order to develop the program Knowledge of adolescent development and language acquisition Ability to teach a French class is desired, but not required The position consists of 4-5 classes of Spanish I, II, and III. We will consider candidates with a strong interest in CI who may not have CI classroom experience.
