System Operator / Trainee

SYSTEM OPERATOR/TRAINEE The Upper Blue Sanitation District is seeking highly motivated individuals to be part of a successful professional team. Position is open at trainee level and above. Trainee position requires strong mechanical aptitude and ability to learn wastewater treatment operations. Experienced operators should possess a strong operations and maintenance background, preferably with tertiary treatment, collections system operations, and laboratory procedures. State certification is encouraged but not required. A CDL class B or above with an N endorsement must be obtained within 6 months of hire. A State of Colorado Class D waste-water operators license shall be obtained within 1year of hire. The District has an excellent benefit package including health and dental insurance, and a retirement plan. Salary is 43k to 87k and is commensurate with experience.
