Staff Accountant

Staff Accountant The Staff Accountant performs the accounts payable functions, prepares staff payroll, and performs related payroll functions, prepares and records monthly childcare provider payments, monitors expenses to ensure compliance with grant requirements and budget, prepares monthly grant billings, prepares monthly finance reports for management, prepares individual grant budgets and reports, and assists with preparation of agency budget. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. Three years' experience performing A/P, payroll, and other accounting functions, preferably in fund or non-profit accounting; or any combination of education or training which demonstrates possession of the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Experienced in QuickBooks Experienced in Microsoft Excel Experienced in GAAP Reliable transportation This is a full-time, 35 hour-per-week position. Starting salary $50K-$65K plus great benefits.
