Please include cover letter, resume, and salary requirements when submitting your application to [email protected] Title: Specialist, Member Engagement - Honors and Awards Department: Membership Engagement FLSA Status: Exempt Description: This position's primary role will be to oversee APTA's Honors & Awards program. You will facilitate the nominations process and coordinating with APTA's Honors & Awards subcommittees, and you will oversees the annual in-person ceremony recognizing award recipients and the delivery of related awards and certificates. You also will serve as the liaison to APTA's Council of Catherine Worthingham Fellows, seeking to align those distinguished members with opportunities to advance APTA's strategic priorities. Additional duties include helping to support APTA's chapters and sections within the association's federated model. Essential Functions (include but are not limited to): Manage APTA's Honors and Awards Program Administer the appointments process Assist with discreet Fellows program Support APTA online Member communities, communications and help maintain APTA Engage and database, etc. Assists department colleagues with carrying out efforts to meet objectives on organizational priorities with a focus on departmental contributions to membership strategy for the Association. Supports operational needs for appointed and member volunteer groups and APTA leadership. Provides support with data entry as appropriate including compliance documents. Seeks out and supports and opportunities for continuous quality improvement in department activities. Is an effective champion of the Association vision, mission, and brand.
