Software Engineer III

ALSAC/St. Jude Children's Research Hospital has openings for the position of Software Engineer III in Memphis, TN. ALSAC/St. Jude Children's Research Hospital – the fund-raising organization of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital – is currently looking for a Software Engineer III as follows. Responsible for compiling and analyzing information for developing and revising data processing applications used in software development. Works with Business Systems Analysts, Database Administrators, Software Engineers and Project Managers to assess needs and conduct preliminary studies and design of applications. Performs verbal interviews and other data gathering activities for preliminary analysis and support of new major projects and application enhancements used during the Software Development Life Cycle. Uses computer and analysis knowledge to analyze, design, and write new application systems. Creates and modifies complex applications programs, tests, debugs, documents and maintains those programs. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field and a minimum of five years of technical, analytical, systems and programming experience.
