Senior Accountant

This position performs professional accounting and financial tasks involving preparation, audit and review of complex financial records and reports. Responsible for coordinating and performing various accounting functions for the County such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, general ledger, bank reconciliations, etc. Provides support and training to other accounting personnel and County staff. Incumbents may specialize in a particular area of Accounting and/or financial management. MQs : Requires a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field and two years of related accounting and financial systems experience. AP or GL accounting and experience with Infor (Lawson) are highly desirable. Experience with ERP financial systems is highly desirable. Financial certifications e.g. CPA, GPFO are also desired.
