SECONDARY ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL

LOCATIONS : Roth Junior High School (Grades 7-9) SALARY : Competitive per Rush-Henrietta Administrators' Contract, based on experience. QUALIFICATIONS : Applicants must possess (or be eligible for) New York state SAS/SBL or SDA certification. Successful secondary teaching experience (or equivalent) is required. Rush-Henrietta is seeking a dynamic, committed educator to join our school leadership team as a full-time, tenure-track assistant principal. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong knowledge of secondary instruction, adolescent development, and supervision practices that lead to teacher growth and student achievement. Collaborative leadership and effective communication and follow-through are essential, including the ability to manage school operations. Candidates must be able to work with students and families in a culturally responsive manner, and to advocate for the success of all students. All new administrators in Rush-Henrietta are provided with comprehensive induction, mentoring, and leadership career development.
