Strategic Prevention Solutions is hiring a part to full-time Research Associate I to assist with a variety of evaluation and prevention planning projects. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Research Associate I personnel support all research and evaluation activities at SPS, with assignment to specific project support as needed. Research Associate Is have obtained a bachelor's degree or equivalent in research, public health, or related field or may be masters-level students with some research experience. These associates have fundamental research qualifications and skills including: Familiarity with quantitative and qualitative methods and analysis Survey/Questionnaire/Poll design and development Experience with data visualization (e.g., creating infographics, charts, figures) Experience using platforms such as MS Excel and SurveyGizmo to manage data Some math and statistical skills Effective communicator who is proficient in English written language The primary role of a Research Associate I is to provide support to ongoing research and/or evaluation projects. Generally, they are asked to perform the following duties: Carry out evaluation projects according to protocols and plans developed by the team Develop surveys, questionnaires, or other evaluation tools under the guidance of the project lead Collect and enter data/information collected Produce charts and other visualizations of data Review plans, products, and reports (including proofreading and editing to ensure accuracy) SALARY: This position is a part to full-time Research Associate I. Salary is negotiable commensurate with skills and experience and is expected to fall within a range of $42,000-52,000 annual salary.
