PowerSouth PLANT SAFETY & TRAINING COORDINATOR PowerSouth Energy Cooperative, an electric generation and transmission cooperative serving Alabama and Northwest Florida, is seeking a Plant Safety & Training Coordinator in the Central GenerationDepartment located in Gantt,Alabama. The purpose of this position is to implement, administer and coordinate the Central Generation plant generation training and safety-related programs in accordance with established policies and procedures and regulatory requirements. Applicant must possess a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, safety engineering, occupational safety and health or related field and four (4) years' professional experience in safety and training or a related area. In lieu of a bachelor's degree, an associate's degree in a related field and six (6) years' professional experience in safety and training or a related area will be considered. In lieu of either degree, eight (8) years' professional experience in safety and training or a related area is required. Employment is subject to a negative drug test, background check and completion of a comprehensive application for employment.
