To connect with us, visit www.gannett.com . The San Angelo Standard-Times/gosanangelo.com, part of the USA TODAY NETWORK, is seeking a full-time photojournalist. This person will be able to cover a broad range of stories from a standpoint of visual storytelling -- from breaking news to enterprise stories to sports -- while also possessing some reporting skills. This role combines daily assignments and projects. It requires collaboration and planning with reporters and editors to help tell stories. There are also opportunities to find your own stories and produce photo galleries or other multimedia projects. In addition to photography, experience with video is a plus. Candidates must be curious, self-motivated and aggressive in pursuing compelling stories that resonate with readers. The ideal candidate will have the ability to do some basic reporting, writing short stories to accompany their photos when a reporter is unavailable. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in communications or journalism preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience. 1 2 years experience in journalism, which could include freelancing, internships, and college publication work. Comfortable in fluid, fast-br
