The Philanthropy Officer serves as a key member of the foundation individual giving team. This individual will strategically qualify, cultivate, solicit and steward prospects in the mid-level giving programs to increase gifts to Phoenix Children's Hospital Foundation. The ideal candidate will be energetic and enthusiastic, metrics-driven, and is comfortable working in a dynamic and fast paced environment. This position reports to the Sr. Director - Individual Giving. Education and Experience Requirements: Minimum of 3 years in fundraising, development or related field in a non-profit environment. Experience in medical or academic setting is strongly encouraged Bachelor's degree or Master's Degree in business, philanthropy or related field. Experience with Raiser's Edge or other equivalent CRM system Candidate must be able to navigate a wide variety of business and social settings and enjoy taking the message of Phoenix Children's Hospital to individuals and organizations not yet familiar with its work. Position Duties : Manages a portfolio of 450 - 650 prospects Work in concert with the Sr. Director of Individual Giving and the Programs Director to develop and implement thoughtful strategic qualification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship plans for prospective donors in the mid-level giving program, $1k - $99k Ensure regular, meaningful contact with donors through various activities and creative communication strategies Develop expertise in hospital Centers of Excellence and service lines; serves as foundation liaison in assisting physicians, program directors and administration with capital and programmatic funding needs Meet annual activity and financial performance metrics Participate in meetings and other special projects as requested. recblid p0wnzt8j89kxistayunszyfpx4r3hn Qualifications: 4 Year Degree
