IT-Assistant Vice President (Morrisville, NC): Collaborate with the Americas Quant Strat's Index & Alpha Strategies Team to handle & communicate business & functional changes to the global platform. Perform enhancements & develop new programs that will be used in indices calculation & publish indices on external platforms. Improve application services & performance. Collaborate with functional & corporate architects to ensure compliance with corporate architectural standards. Use .NET, Python, ETL, VBA, & SQL to handle support queries & understand parts of the system less well documented for general knowledge & specifically when undergoing direct or adjacent enhancements. Introduce Continuous Integration & Continuous Deployment practices. Automate the database & back-end development, testing, & deployment manual tasks. Ensure production stability of application. Coordinate production incidents root cause investigations. Work on batch processes using Autosys to handle data that delivers daily incremental content for users in each region. Work on large data sets in Excel VBA & SQL. Use .NET & ETL technologies to develop & maintain existing applications. Apply knowledge of the software development lifecycle using Kanban & Agile as well as data warehousing. Req's Master's degr plus 2 yrs exp or Bachelor's degr plus 5 yrs exp.
