IT-Assistant Vice President (Morrisville, NC): Monitor & assure the stability of production environments worldwide & provide support to the firm's application developers. Build & customize existing environments. Support complete WebSphere MQ Series, WebSphere Message Broker, IIB, TIBCO EMS, FOBOCA, & CodeStreet applications. Provide integration solutions for various applications using middleware technologies. Implement projects within distributed systems & operating systems, including Unix, Linux, Solaris, & mainframes. Design MQ flow for internal & external applications. Implement CodeStreet channels & replay messages when requested by application teams. Implement SSL & TLS security frameworks for MQ channels. Liaise with internal infrastructure teams, vendors, development, central architecture, & messaging operation teams to provide level three support. Support application production issues related to the closure of Severity 1 & Severity 2 incidents. Develop monitoring systems, including Geneos & Splunk. Set up MQ clusters for new project implementations. Analyze client requirements & determine the scope of each interface. Apply knowledge of clusters & distributed environments in MQ Series & gateway queue managers. Req's Master's degr plus 2 yrs exp or Bachelor's degr plus 5 yrs exp.
