Energy Transactional Associate

Troutman Pepper has an immediate need for an Associate to join our Energy Practice Group, with a focus on transactional work related to the generation, transmission and sale of electric power. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience with M&A, project development, project construction or project finance (either generally or specifically relating to the electric power industry). We will also consider candidates with other energy industry backgrounds, including state or federal energy regulatory experience. We are seeking a candidate based in Atlanta, Charlotte, Portland or Washington, DC. We are seeking highly motivated candidates with superior academic credentials and strong oral and written communication skills.
