Enquirer Media in Cincinnati, OH, seeks a high school sports score taker to work part-time. High school score-takers are responsible for taking and accurately transcribing scores over the phone and through email for publication in print and online, gathering and compiling high school rosters, writing high school briefs and summaries on deadline, gathering information for special sections and other duties as assigned. Score-takers must work well both independently with minimal supervision, and in collaboration with others. The general hours for this position are 5 p.m./6 p.m. to 10 p.m./11 p.m. weekdays; and 8 p.m./9 p.m. to midnight Fridays and Saturdays, with slightly earlier hours during spring sports season. The score-taker will be based in our downtown Cincinnati office and report to the high school sports content coach.
