NOW HIRING FOR A Credit Operations Analyst Under limited supervision, this position coordinates and leads the implementation of various compliance and operational risk management programs on behalf of Credit, including but not limited to: (1) Sarbanes-Oxley (SOx) Section 404 compliance; (2) business unit risk assessments; (3) vendor management; (4) model risk management; (5) disaster recovery; and (6) end user developed computing applications. Serves as the primary liaison between the Operational Risk department and Credit. This position assists with the development and maintenance of departmental policies and procedures and assists other business partners in Credit to ensure processes are effective and consistent with a strong internal control structure. Also, responsible for performing ongoing and ad hoc analysis on securities and loan collateral as needed. In addition, assists in the analysis and management of operational expenses related to Credit activities. What qualifications are needed? Bachelors degree in accounting, finance or related discipline is preferred, or extensive and demonstrated job experience required. Three to five years of similar or related experience. Quality control or audit experience preferred. Thorough knowledge of lending markets (residential, commercial and agricultural) and security markets (agencies, mortgage-backed securities, and collateralized mortgage obligations). Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality of information. Ability to work with a variety of business partners to achieve corporate and department objectives. Must be able to work independently and operate all types of office equipment. Knowledge and proficient use of MS Office applications including Word, Excel and Access.
