Construction Technician Carrco Painting Contractors (Dallas, TX) Post secondary certification or Assoc deg in Construction or reltd field or equiv & at least 2 yrs of exp. Duties incl: apply theory & principles of civil engrg in planning, designing, & overseeing construction & maintenance of structures & facilities under the direction of engrg staff or physical scientists. Calculate dimensions, square footage, profile & component specs, & material quantities using calculator or comp, read & review project blueprints & structural specs to determine dimensions of structure or system & material requirements. Draft detailed dimensional drawings & layouts for projects & to ensure conformance to specs, Confer w/supervisor to determine project details such as plan preparation, acceptance testing, & evaluation of field conditions.
