Applications are invited for the full-time position of Combination Technician/Analyzer for CC Communications . Position is working in the Network Operations Center (NOC) and the incumbent performs analytical, diagnostic and provisioning functions in connection with construction, installation, repair, maintenance, and operation of telephone and broadband lines, instruments and related equipment, for all existing and future product lines (regulated and deregulated), i.e. telephone, broadband, TV, computers, etc. Responds to alarms and reports, receives and documents trouble reports, performs necessary tests, and forwards information for necessary action. Position interacts with customers and field technicians on issues relating to service outages, malfunctions, and repair, new or changes to services or products and network facility dispatch activities. Specifically, position provides technical guidance to field staff dealing with customer troubles. Aligns appropriate field staff with types of customer troubles. QUALIFICATIONS Any combination of training, education and experience that would provide the required skills, knowledge and abilities needed to perform the assigned duties of the position. A typical way to acquire the required skills, knowledge and abilities is: • Completion of credits above high school in business, psychology, technical (skilled trades) or closely related field may be substituted for one year of the required experience. • At least two years of progressively responsible work in a technical, engineering or trades environment. • At least two years progressively responsible experience working in an environment where customer service was a major component of the job • At least two years experience involving computer setup, configuration, and maintenance skills, Comp TIA A+ preferred. • Experience using billing systems, order administration, dispatch or resource deployment, and/or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) or related software is preferred. • Ability to attain M4 Certifications within one year in position. • Must be able to work overtime, evenings, weekends, Holidays and other non-standard hours and schedules as conditions warrant. • Success
