College Wires Regional Editor The USA TODAY Sports Media Group, part of the USA TODAY NETWORK , is seeking two dynamic, college football-obsessed, forward-thinking digital editors to serve as College Wires Regional Editor(s). There will be two hires made in total one editor each for the East and West regions. The purpose of this role is to help write, edit, plan and manage news and digital content for the College Wire websites, with a specific focus on the nine or ten team sites within each Editor's region. In total, SMGs highly popular College Wires consist of 19 individual websites in total providing coverage of top teams in the SEC, Big Ten and more. The ideal candidate is an/a innovative, thorough, communicative, team-oriented writer/editor with a deep understanding and awareness of college football history, news and transactions. The ideal candidate also has a deep knowledge of 1-2 college programs, to the degree where he/she/they could provide expert written coverage including breaking news of said team daily.
