RESPONSIBILITIES NSA OverviewThe professionals at the National Security Agency (NSA) have one common goal: to protect our nation. The mission requires a strong offense and a steadfast defense. The offense collects, processes and disseminates intelligence information derived from foreign signals for intelligence and counterintelligence purposes. The defense prevents adversaries from gaining access to sensitive classified national security information. The Human Resources Group, specifically Employee Assistance Services (EAS), is seeking several Clinical Social Workers.The Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-C) selected by Employee Assistance Services will support the NSA mission by providing psychological treatment for civilians, military service members and their spouses, as well as possibly conducting workplace consultations when supporting leadership with managerial issues. The Clinical Social Worker will perform clinical intake assessments, followed by brief therapy (8-10 sessions), within individual, couples or group modalities. On-call and emergency response is required to address employees who are at risk of harm to themselves or others. Psychoeducational classes on topics such as depression, stress reduction, suicide awareness and prevention, and deployment are included in the scope of work. Workplace consultations will focus on identifying and mitigating individual and organizational issues as well as consultation and training for operational personnel. All clinical documentation will include diagnosis and use of the SOAP format and the development of treatment plans. Participate in clinical presentations and peer review meetings with on-site clinicians. Masters degree in Social Work from a CSWE-accredited institution, with at least three years of relevant post-licensure experience. (License: LCSW-C.) A valid current license to practice social work in any state or territory with no pending adverse actions (e.g. suspensions, restrictions or revocations) is required.
